In 2019, Canadian label Séance Centre reissued on vinyl, an essential selection, of the best tracks from Gwakasonné. Entitled Vwayajé, and recorded on 45rpm for better sound definition, the double album draws from Robert Oumaou’s group’s three historic volumes: Gwakasonné (1983), Temwen (1987) and Moun (1988).
