Poets of Forest – Dolmen / Alibo / Omicil, 2025

A little over a year ago, Arnaud Dolmen, with the support of his friends Michel Alibo and Jowee Omicil, wrote the background music for Amandine Gay’s short film Une Histoire à Soi. One thing led to another, and the concept took shape, becoming the Poets of Forest, complete with a full repertoire to which each member contributed their own touch. The self-titled album was released under this name, and the trio is now regularly in demand on festival stages. Earlier this month, they opened the second night of Jazz au Pic Saint-Loup (followed by an excellent second set led by Fabrice Martinez and his project celebrating the 50th anniversary of Stevie Wonder’s Songs In The Keys Of Life).
