Tant à Partager – TC Quartet, 2022

With the TC Quartet, Tony Chasseur revisits standards from the Caribbean and Guyana in this first volume entitled Tant à Partager. He is joined here by some long-time friends, Thierry and Jean-Philippe Fanfant, David Fackeure. These four know their stuff and don’t hesitate to rearrange with originality and taste these songs that are sometimes too often (mis)heard. The result is a polished jazz album full of fluidity, swing and dreamy nostalgia, cleverly covering hits by Eugène Mona, Al Lirvat, Loulou Boislaville, Beethova Obas and Josy Masse.
