Mojuba-O was released in 2016, with his band, Osemako, the support of some of the Smith brothers, and some former members of Africa 70 and Africa 80, including the essential Udoh Essiet. Muyiwa develops his afro-classic-beat, a return to the origins of Nigerian music, with warm horns and an irresistible rhythm.
And we can’t wait for Muyiwa Kunnuji’s next album, promised this year.
