Boom Boom / Sticks Man – Black Slate, 1980

Based in England, but also formed with musicians from Jamaica and Anguilla, reggae band Black Slate was born in the mid-70s. A small hit in 1980 with this dub-flavored Boom Boom. On side B, Black Slate revives its hit Sticks Man, originally released in 1976. Black Slate was active until 1985, although a small revival attempt took place around 2013, but without much conviction.
