Blackfire is Dominique Bérose‘s first album under his own name. The keyboardist ventures into library music, blending jazz, funk and Caribbean influences, for Thierry David’s K-Vox label. Dominique incorporates the rhythms and styles he loves and masters. As a solo artist, he intelligently programmes a well-crafted foundation for his ever-innovative piano playing. Each theme is then adapted into a shorter jingle version and a solo piano version. As a bonus, there is a wonderful cover illustration by Michel Montagut.
