🏝️🎤🇵🇫👩‍🎤🎶 Ia ora na ! On the Tahiti Records label, founded by Eddie Lund in 1948, a succession of 45s of songs from the repertoire were released by the hottest artists of the day. One of these was Marie Mariterangi. The Tuamotu-born singer made her debut with Eddie Lund in 1954. Here, around 1960, with her cousin Turuma, she performs the Tamuré classic Hotera Bora Bora, accompanied by the Hôtel Tahiti orchestra. On the other side, the obscure Tiko Tane covers Moeata, composed by Eddie Lund himself.
