Oriental Brothers International Band – 1977

đŸŽžđŸ„đŸŒđŸ‡łđŸ‡ŹđŸŽ¶Oriental Brothers International is unstoppable, blending Afrobeat, makossa, merengue, soukous
influences. The group was born in the early 70’s in Eastern Nigeria – hence the name
 – under the impetus of two Opara brothers, Godwin « Kabaka Â», guitarist, and Ferdinand « DanSatch Â» Chukwuemeka, lead guitarist and bassist. In 1977, the Brothers were enjoying great success with the release of their two long tracks – one on each side – Ugwu Manu Na Nwanne Ya and Kele Chi. Above all, the Oriental Brothers were still going strong, celebrating their fiftieth anniversary this year. The album O Ku Ngwo Di Ochi was released last June, in the purest Highlife instrumental tradition of the time!
