Just fifteen years ago, Georges Plonquitte passed away. He had worked with Les Aiglons, was of course a member of the Typical Combo, and also pursued a solo career. His hits include the famous Rosalie, released on the B side of 1977’s Nous Cail Limer Difé, an album featuring Patrick Nuissier on keyboards and trumpeter Philogène Astasie, who was poached from Typical for the occasion.
