One of the hidden gems of Haitian Creole jazz is My World, the second album under his own name by the excellent keyboardist Mushy Widmaier, released in 2006. He is joined here by his brother Joël, and we also have the pleasure, in the course of a track, of finding Sonia Bérose on vocals, as well as Thurgot Théodat. Somewhere between smooth jazz and mizik rasin, this is a must-have that’s become impossible to find!
