🎷🪕👯♀️🇨🇺🌍 The Orquesta Aragón has undeniably been one of the pillars of Cuban music since its creation in 1939, and is still active today. Initially very cha-cha-oriented, it soon diversified and, by the end of the 50s, had become a benchmark for charanga. In 1976, the soberly titled album Aragón was one of their successes, from which is extracted this little 45 rpm between son and guaracha. The edition presented here is from La Maison du Disque in Abidjan, which for a time specialized in Latin music for West Africa, in collaboration with the famous Cuban label Areito.
