It’s the weekend, isn’t it? Come on, soukous!!! Pépé Kallé moved to Paris in 1985 after falling out with Mobutu’s regime, which took issue with some of the singer’s lyrics. Never mind, the story continues in the north, and the least we can say is that the fever is still alive and well.
