A cultural manifesto, the first album by Pakatak, created on the initiative of Dédé Saint Prix, was released on the 3A label under the title « Contribution 3A au Patrimoine Martiniquais » in 1980 (or almost…). It was also one of the very first recordings by the very young Bago. A mix of quadrille, bélè and chouval bwa, the album puts Martinique’s traditions back in the spotlight, behind the flute of its leader. With Claude Garçon, Jean-Paul Roffalet, Max Bellony and Philippe Burdy. Pianist Paul Rosine also features on the track Rouzé I and Corinne Emmanuel on vocals.
