🎷🇬🇵🎶🔥🎉 In 1975, Michel Nerplat, the saxophonist of the siblings (Jean-Claude, Gérard & Manès) made an infidelity to the Aiglons by forming El Chomb’ Combo. He released several albums with this group, of which this is the first. Of course, he called on some of his Aiglons colleagues (Willy Noël, Anthony Pierre…) for some heartfelt cadences magma rhythms, including a follow-up to the hit Cuisse La, and the festive Bonne Année. To round off the album, Michel Nerplat turns up the heat with Carnaval Surprend’ Moins, then unexpectedly plunges us into the delightful bossa Saxo, with its almost funky arrangements by Patrick Nuissier on organ and Christian Leon’s airy guitar. A real little moment of happiness!
