« Biguines… toubonement ! » is one of Al Lirvat‘s first LPs under his own name, released in 1975, with his wabap orchestra! Indeed, his first records have been 78s and EP 45s since the 1950s. This is also one of the first appearances of his wabap name, which revamps the beguine. He is accompanied here by Emilien Antile, Michel Paquit, Alfred Varasse, etc. and on bass we find the very young Jacky Bernard, not yet Fal Frett’s keyboard player.
