đ·đŽđ¶đžđč For ten years now, Xavier Richardeau has been at the lead of the famous New ‘Ti Paris, in Gosier. The saxophonist has travelled extensively, making his mark on the Parisian clubs on Rue des Lombards, before settling in Guadeloupe. It was time to mark this anchorage with the release of A Caribbean Thing, an album that reflects his history as much as his current situation. For the occasion, he surrounded himself with musicians with whom he now plays regularly. Jocelyn MĂ©nard adds a second voice on tenor saxophone, and the talented Anthony Jambon (guitar) and Leonardo Montana (piano) round out the harmony and accompaniment, always in tune. For rhythm, Xavier Richardeau takes no risks, relying instead on the pairing of RĂ©gis ThĂ©rĂšse and Yoann Danier. The album comes out on 20 October, and Xavier Richardeau will be in concert in Paris at the end of November. Check it out!
