🎶🇳🇬🕊️💔🕯️ Twenty-five years ago (yesterday, in fact!) the king of Afrobeat, Fela Ransome Kuti, passed away. Already… For the occasion, one of his iconic songs, Lady, an Afro feminist anthem that was initially « only » the B-side of Shakara, another landmark track by the man from Kalakuta, recorded with Africa 70, and released in 1972 (and here reissued in 2014 by Knitting Factory).
