Gone are the Gramacks, hello Volt-Face. Jeff Joseph surrounded himself with the two Dominique – Coco and Panol, Georges Décimus, Marie-José Gibon (excuse the pun!!) to set up this shooting star of zouk which essentially lasted a short ten years (if we exclude the last CD released at the time of Jeff Joseph’s death). The group’s first album is called Haute Tension, and richly deserves its name. Up-tempo, synths and electric guitars, it’s the sound of the 90s, and it’s bursting with energy. Go zouk!
