The second opus from Pakatak continues the revitalisation of bèlè. Behind the flutes of Krisyan Jésoph and René Voltigeur, we find mainstay Bago leading the group, supported by Charly Labinsky, Georges Hodebourg and Jean-Paul Roffalet among others. From tibwa to quadrille, the tradition blazes on, with even a few deviations towards the Latin Caribbean, and the cover photo, with hands raised, is one of the group’s most recognisable.
