Nanm Kann – Jacob Desvarieux, 2021

Recorded in December 2018 at Mémorial Acte in Pointe-à-Pitre, this double live album is the posthumous testimony left to us by Jacob Desvarieux with his Nanm Kann project. The singer and guitarist, who tragically passed away last summer, is accompanied by Mario Canonge, Jowee Omicil, Régis Thérèse and Yoann Danier, and the voices and backing vocals of Jerryka Jacques-Gustave and Raymonia Moco. Jacob offers us his blues-rock interpretation of zouk, enhanced by the jazz accents of Mario and Jowee. A two-hour concert to play over and over again!
