Georges Plonquitte et Cie – 1978

,

đŸŽ”đŸ‡ŹđŸ‡”đŸŽčđŸŽșđŸ„ After the success of Rosalie the previous year, Georges Plonquitte called his company back for a third opus under this name. Lapin La, in turn, is a hit, with the generous cadence offered by Plonquitte, after his albums with Typical Combo. Charles Maurinier and Patrick Nuissier share the keyboards, including some devastating early synth sounds. The rhythm continues with En Ka Vive Kan Mimm’ and En Ka Travail Pou Moin, which are packed with choirs and horns, each as sharp as the next. Plonquitte and Maurinier went on to form the group Manioc, which featured a host of big names including Michel Alibo and FrĂ©dĂ©ric Caracas. Sadly, Plonquitte passed away prematurely in 2006.
