Fal Frett is obviously also one of the benchmarks of Creole jazz made in Martinique. The three Bernard brothers, Alex, Nicol and Jacky, set up the project in the late 70s, joined by Jacky Alpha, Bib Monville, then later Robin Vautor and Ralph Thamar or Luther François. And the band is still going strong, even if the personnel has changed a lot around the three brothers. This is volume 4, released in 1983, of a discography that’s pretty sparse for forty-five years old! It includes the very good Gato – Sisson by the late Robin Vautor.
