Just ten years ago, to everyone’s astonishment, Jeff Joseph died suddenly. A huge loss for Caribbean music. RIP. This Best Of vol. 1 by the Gramacks – with objectively rather unappealing cover art – was never followed by a second volume, but does feature some interesting unreleased material.
