🎸🌍🗼🎶🕺 Led by the emblematic Gordon Henderson, the Exile One made their album « with Eiffel Tower » in 1976, an undeniable sign of success. The previous year, they had become the first Caribbean group to sign a contract with a major label, and had moved from Guadeloupe to Paris. This ‘Eiffel Tower’ is their second (and last) album on the label. In keeping with the spirit of the times, they lather up their blend of cadence-lypso, Latin groove and reggae, with the funk and disco accents of the moment.
