In 2010, singer Jean-Paul Elysée released the first album of his vocal group Baylavwa on his Guest label. Featuring Thierry Fred François, Hubert Colau, Léo Rafael and Olivier Thétis, the album covers mostly West Indian standards, with luminous influences from the Double Six, Take Six and even some Chanté Nwel (who will be featured on the group’s third album, released in 2015).
