Saxophonist Gérard Daniel’s band went on to produce some fifteen albums up until the early 2000s, holding their own against the likes of Les Frères Dejean, Skah-Shah and DP Express. They have performed several times in Guadeloupe, most recently in 2012. The man nicknamed the Brooklyn Prefect tragically passed away in 2018 in New York.
