The (not yet) Cimarons arrived in London from Jamaica in 1967. But the group was not formed until 1973, when they met Winston Reid. Maka was released in 1978 by Polydor, from which the single Mother Earth was taken. The group continued until 1981, when they finally split up after a total of ten albums.
