Biguine Biguine – Pierre Rassin et son orchestre antillais, vers 1972

,

Who better than Pierre Rassin to defend the tradition of the beguine, the mazurka and the waltz? On Biguine Biguine, the Martinique-born conductor, director of Le Manoir in Fort-de-France and an accomplished trombonist, is accompanied by his Creole orchestra, featuring clarinettist Barel Coppet, André Geneviève on piano and the rhythm section of René Cimper and Denis Dantin. And it’s well known, Femme Tombé Jamais Désespérer!

And thanks to Dominique Bérose and Denis Dantin for their help with the musician credits!
