Second album from the late Curtis Louisar, who died in 2007. The guitarist and singer from Martinique had produced his first album, Bravo Neg Marron the previous year. In 1982, this second album revealed Louisar to the public thanks to Aganila, a pure folk track in the great west coast tradition, and one that would make him a hit. But the rest of the album is equally remarkable, between cadence, funk (Soley Bal, Zoukey Funkey), reggae (Flash) and even occasional rock accents (Syty Wyna). The guitars of Franck Donation and Yvon Rosilette are certainly no strangers to this. With José Privat and Robert Vaubon on keyboards (piano and organ), Georges Hodebourg and Philippe Donatien (bass), Lucien Saint-Albin (drums), Hubert Ranville and Jean-Claude Rosilette (percussion), Claude Louis Joseph and José Héloïse (brass), and the voices of Flora Petricien and Monette Duval.
