Almost as famous as his Fem’m Kolokinte released two years earlier, here’s Sôciss by Coupé Cloué and his Ensemble Select, released in 1980 on Marc Records. The lyrics, as often with double meanings, are tasty and Henry Gesner’s compas still swings as finely as ever. The B-side opens with a fitting Carnaval (Gade Yon Gran Moune) for Mardi Gras 2022.
