2011 sees the release of Horizon‘s third album, aptly named Limewo Twa… The modern gwoka group led by Christian Laviso was formed in 1990 to continue the experiment he began with Gaoulé Mizik. Ten unconstrained tracks to let the trance rise and topical subjects, after the social movements of the LKP in 2009, Fò Négosyé! The guitarist is joined by Horizon loyalists – and his other band, Simen’ Kontra – such as Olivier Vamur, Aldo Middleton, José Gustarimac and Michel Sylvestre. Horizon continues to keep the tradition alive and kicking.
