Go zouk! At the end of the 80s, Les Girls, coached by Ira Enjaric, set the zouk-dance floor on fire with compositions by Gordon Henderson and Ira Enjaric himself. The album Pa Oublié… Nou Pressé! was released in 1988. Guilaine Bapaume, Claudine Borot and Péguy Pierre-Charles are accompanied by Muriel Joseph, Christel Lavaux, Marie-Claire Soubrier and Marie-France Lucelius. Malika Messaoudi, who played saxophone on two of the group’s albums, is also featured. She then moved on to the other side of the recording studio, but has recently returned to the mike with Rec. Oscillation, a lovely EP of jazz and Tropics released in 2019.
