Le Martiniquais avait d\u00e9but\u00e9 en fabriquant lui-m\u00eame ses flutes, selon la m\u00e9thode ancestrale indienne. Il est depuis devenu un passeur de la tradition de la flute dans son \u00eele, un temps oubli\u00e9e, et a dans sa vie, partag\u00e9 la sc\u00e8ne avec aussi bien Archie Shepp que Tito Puente. Ce disque est aujourd&rsquo;hui un album iconique, qui sera suivi d&rsquo;un volume 2 en 1989. On y retrouve entre autres Claude Vamur \u00e0 la batterie et Georges-Edouard Nouel au piano. Ici, la r\u00e9\u00e9dition d&rsquo;excellente qualit\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9e par Bongo Joe en 2017.
