Ce premier album \u00e9ponyme sort en 1971, et jette les bases d\u2019une fusion entre highlife, afro-funk, rock, afrobeat qui fera d\u2019Osibisa un groupe mythique. Avec son embl\u00e9matique \u00e9l\u00e9phant volant, ce disque inaugure aussi les formidables graphismes de Roger Dean, \u00e9galement dessinateur des premi\u00e8res pochettes de plusieurs groupes phares du prog-rock, Yes bien s\u00fbr, mais aussi, Gentle Giant ou Uriah Heep par exemple.
