L\u2019album est enregistr\u00e9 pour partie en Guadeloupe (Dominique B\u00e9rose, Raymond d\u2019Huy, Fred Desplan, Raymond Grego) et pour partie \u00e0 Paris (Gr\u00e9gory Privat, Olivier Juste, Gino Chantoiseau, Sonny Troup\u00e9). Jocelyn y poursuit son travail multiculturel entre son Canada natal et sa Guadeloupe d\u2019adoption. Il avait entam\u00e9 cette voie avec le concept Guanada (Charly Chomereau-Lamotte et Normand Deveault), d\u00e9clin\u00e9 plus tard en big band sur la sc\u00e8ne du festival de jazz de Pointe-\u00e0-Pitre. Entretemps, il avait enregistr\u00e9 avec le ma\u00eetre, Alain Jean-Marie, un Men Art Works en quartet. Terre M\u00e8re marie le jazz et le blues au gwoka et au zouk, avec quelques featurings savoureux (Philippe d\u2019Huy, Malika Tirolien, R\u00e9mi Bolduc, entre autres). Depuis Terre M\u00e8re, Jocelyn multiplie les projets ancr\u00e9s dans la tradition guadeloup\u00e9enne, comme Pwofesi a Man Jann, ou bien ses collaborations avec son complice Gilbert Laumord. Il anime aussi r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement les soir\u00e9es du New \u2018Ti Paris. Samedi prochain, 29 avril, il sera au Baiser Sal\u00e9 \u00e0 Paris avec son Caribbean Jazz Group, et c\u2019est une occasion rare de venir l\u2019\u00e9couter. En tout cas, moi, j&rsquo;y serai.
