Leur premier album ne sortira cependant que plus de dix ans apr\u00e8s la cr\u00e9ation du groupe, en 1974. Leur quatri\u00e8me album est l\u2019un de ceux ayant eu le plus de succ\u00e8s, <strong>Bouki Ac Malice<\/strong>, enregistr\u00e9 \u00e0 New York par Henri Debs et publi\u00e9 en 1977, avec les hits Arrette et D\u00e9bak\u00e9. Le compas des Fr\u00e8res D\u00e9jean est particuli\u00e8rement l\u00e9ch\u00e9 et finement construit.
